The Fourth of July was spent with Carrie's family and some neighbors that invited us to their backyards to cool off and enjoy some good food. We had a great time visiting while kids played on the blowup slide, jumped on the tramp and slid on the slip and slide. That evening we went around the corner from our neighborhood (out of city limits) so Andersen could light some of his fireworks. Then we finished the night at our park across the street watching the city fireworks show. I love this time of the year! I love being a citizen of our great country. I am proud of my father who served in the airforce and fought for our freedom. I am grateful to so many that have sacraficed greatly for the blessings we enjoy in this country.
