Avery takes a big step into middle school this year. We have 6, 7 and 8th grades at middle school here in Missoula. Because of he way the boundaries are Avery's elementary school has kids going to two different middle schools. We live in the CS Porter boundaries which is where Andersen goes. But as she got closer to leaving we realized that pretty much all of her friends would be going to Meadow Hill. So we put her name on a waiting list and at the last minute she made it into the school. She loves it and doesn't seem to mind that Andersen is not there.(imagine that)
Andersen was lucky enough to start his 8th grade year off with a brand new full set of braces. He enjoys seeing all the friends he hasn't seen for the summer. He seems to be like his mother when it comes to being social. He still plays his clarinet and looks forward to basketball season.
